facilities are beautiful, they took us to the room some cakes as a delicious welcome. treatment of the staff is excellent. We had a problem for which we needed the phone and the, ladies of reception immediately offered us theirs to solve what we needed. They were attentive at all times to make sure everything was taken care of and to help us in any way they could. We felt at home. breakfast is excellent and they have a cafeteria in which the staff took care of us with great professionalism and kindness. An unforgettable experience. They also have astronomy sessions from where they show you the sky. We arrived late but the lady in charge still showed us the moon with the telescope. We are enormously grateful to all the staff mentioned. They are charming and place is beautiful.
The room was very cold. They have a small stove but when we arrived it was not lit, if it had been, surely the room, which is very big, we would have found it more welcoming. They also have an electric blanket but you could feel the cold in your head. If it weren't for that detail that I think is easy to solve, the place would be of honor

The rooms were cozy and well-equipped with good facilities, including a HUGE bed and an electric blanket that kept me warm throughout the chilly nights. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast, featuring delicious local products, was a real treat, especially when enjoyed close to the fireplace. The hotel's location in the beautiful gardens added to its charm.
No improvements needed, everything was just perfect.

I liked the breakfast, lunch and location. The rooms were always clean, the atmosphere was pleasant, you did not feel the cold of the night. What I liked most was the kindness of the staff. They always greeted us cordially, informed us of the beauties of the region and gave us extra treats for my birthday, they were very kind.
On arrival I was not informed of the symptoms of altitude sickness and that there was the possibility of free oxygen for the room. Little by little we were getting more headaches. And despite the coca tea it didn't happen. We called a doctor in Lima and he suggested the oxygen. Only after the oxygen we could enjoy our stay in the Colca. I suggest that you give the tourists written information about this altitude sickness and what the hotel has to offer us. Of course, when we asked them for the oxygen, they did it with kindness and promptness. They should have a written information protocol to ensure the best stay.

The exquisite breakfast, quite a variety. The very good bed. Wide room, with ideal temperature (and if it didn't seem ideal you could manage the heating manually). Hot water all day. In addition the hotel has very comfortable facilities that make you feel at home, so that makes you replenish energy that allows you to enjoy, even more, the trip.
At the check-in I paid in dollars and they didn't have change in the same currency, so I told them there was no rush and that I would pick up the change in the same currency in which I had paid (dollars) the next day because the exchange rate they offered in soles was so low. In the end, after one day, they told me that they had not got it and gave me my change in soles with the exchange rate that clearly suited the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the mountains. The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The staff were friendly and provided great service. The room was cozy, with a HUGE bed and very good warm beds. The attention to detail was evident, with heated blankets to keep you warm. The breakfast, with local products, was delicious, especially when enjoyed close to the fireplace.
All was fine.

Beautiful hotel, good location
More attention to breakfast bar ie hot water for tea, better scrambled eggs. Front desk staff need more training in general administration and language skills.

Services are good and offers you decent comfort and recovery before you continuing exploring Colca next day.
Chivay is small and would hardly exist on touristic maps without Colca. Hotel location is not best but it is not important since everything is just minutes walking and not worth using taxi.

Warm and Cozy Rooms
The rooms at Casa Andina were absolutely cozy and warm, especially with the electric blanket and heater provided. Despite the cold weather, I felt comfortable and snug in my room throughout my stay. The rustic charm of the bungalows added to the overall ambiance and made my experience even more delightful. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and cozy stay.

Awesome view from our room and the restaurant terrace. The staff was really kind and they helped us a lot with tips about the tours. The breakfast was amazing, with fresh fruits, bread, and juices.
The room was a little bit cold, we had to use the portable heater. , the bathroom could be better, it was a little bit old-fashioned and the water pressure was not so strong.
